Animals of Manor Farm,
I am proud to announce that the Farm has undergone major changes. We have re-established positive relations with the two adjacent farms, and we held a celebratory feast to mark the end of the wars. The hoof and horn of the Green Banner (which symbolized the Revolution, something that we have long since moved past) have been removed, and we pigs now walk on two legs. However, my inner circle has alerted me that there is some dissatisfaction among the animals. There is even talk that the pigs are becoming more and more human. You will recall that none of these facts are challenged by the commandment on the back wall of the farm. I simply urge you to drop these allegations and live by the maxim of "I will work harder". You must devote yourselves tirelessly to the success of the farm, for it is not your livelihood but that of the farm for which you work. You may also not refer to each other as comrades, as this is inappropriate and brings back ill memories of Animal Farm. Manor Farm will someday live to be the agricultural power that I have imagined. I must remind you that all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. May Manor Farm be prosperous and may the pigs live well.
Long Live Manor Farm!
-Your Leader, Napoleon
